Hi fellow foodies! Welcome to Hopes Recipes. Hopes Recipes was created for all lovers of food, from all walks of life. I’m so happy you are interested in going on this food journey with me. I sure hope you brought your appetite along because you are in for a delicious ride. My name is Idorenyin Ivy Udoh, and I am the founder of Hopes Recipes. This blog was started 2 years ago because I am very into food. I also wanted a place to document all of the recipes that were coming out of my kitchen. I realized food brings people together, but also has a lot of history inside of it. It amazes me that the food we eat everyday, in one single recipe, there’s so much history. Growing up in NYC, the most dynamic city in the world, I’ve had my share of culinary diversity, and I loved every bit of it.
One of my favorite food to cook, and especially eat is seafood. I will share a seafood recipe at least once a week on this blog. I love fish, shell fish, seafood salads, and seafood stews. I am also a huge fan of chicken. I recently posted a recipe that I am particularly proud of. Shrimp & Cheese Stuffed Chicken Breasts. The recipe includes my love of seafood, and chicken in one delicious dish, and its also a healthy dinner option.
If you’ve asked yourself any of these questions below, you’re in the right place:
- “Can I have a complete dinner ready in under 60 minutes?”
- “Fish or Steak?”
- “Is it possible to have a delicious meal prep recipe that is not boring?”
- “Is it really possible to make restaurant style cuisine in the comfort of my own kitchen?”
- “Pan fried or baked?”
- “What spices should I use instead of salt?”
So here I am today with my very first food blog. By no means am I a trained chef but I think my life experiences give me some street cred! I hope you stick around and find some delicious recipes that you can use in your kitchen.
