Delicious Chili Lime Shrimp
Delicious Chili Lime Shrimp is quick and easy to prepare. I just love this recipe. Ready in 10 minutes (after marinating for 30 minutes). On any weeknight, or for any special occasion your family is guaranteed to enjoy this delicious chili lime shrimp recipe. I really love the tasty combination of chili and lime on just about anything, especially seafood.
For starters, this recipe is so quick to prep. Combine sea salt, black pepper, cumin, paprika, red pepper flakes (optional) & chili powder along with juice of 1 lime with the zest of 1 lime, minced garlic, and olive oil. Pour marinade over cleaned, and deveined shrimp. Let sit in fridge for about 30 minutes. Simple!
Using just one skillet. No oven or grill needed. In less than 10 minutes you will have the most amazingly delicious shrimp you can add to your salad, tacos, and rice (or whatever else you can think of).
Delicious Chili Lime Shrimp
Ingredients:
- 1 lb shrimp (peeled, deveined, and tail on)
- 1 tbsp cilantro (chopped)
Shrimp Marinade
- ½ cup juice from 1 lime
- zest from 1 lime
- 2 cloves of garlic (minced)
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- ¼ tsp cumin
- 1 tsp sea salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- ½ tsp paprika

Rinse shrimp and pat dry with paper towels. Set aside.

In a large bowl or large zip lock bag, mix all ingredients for the marinade. Add the shrimp, and marinate in the fridge for 30 minutes.

Remove shrimp. Heat marinade with extra olive oil if necessary. Allow liquid to cook for about 2 minutes. Add shrimp, and continue cooking for a few minutes tossing shrimp with seasonings. Adjust seasonings if needed.

Remove from heat. Add fresh chopped cilantro.
